NEW SEASON opens FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 14th The Peterborough Theatre Guild has announced their 2012-2013 Season of 9 productions.
The first opening night is for FLAMING IDIOTS, a modern-day farce by Tom Rooney. Director Cindy Wardrope says: “I am amazed at the abilities of my cast and crew. The cast quickly became their characters and the crew were always jumping in to help. As a team I am very proud of what we have accomplished; a funny and entertaining show that offers something for everyone! Thank-you to everyone who helped bring my vision to the stage.” The play is set in New York City, where Phil and Carl quit their post office jobs to follow Phil’s dream of owning a restaurant. Unfortunately neither knows how to run a restaurant. Money doesn’t flow as expected so a crazy plan is hatched to have people talking about the restaurant.
