Peterborough, ON – Join the YMCA of Central East Ontario – Balsillie Family Branch, Peterborough and Freedom 55 Financial on September 22nd from 11am to 3pm for the 6th Annual Family Fun Fair, a free event in support of the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign.
“We are thrilled to be co-hosting this fun and active event,” said Doug Boden, Regional Manager of Freedom 55 Financial. “This is a wonderful event and it gives all members of the community the opportunity to come out for a lively and energetic afternoon at the YMCA.”
The 6th Annual Family Fun Fair is sure to be a fun-filled day and will be a highlight for kids and families as they start to fall back into their regular routines. Obstacle courses, bouncy castles, a petting zoo and carnival games will keep kids and families active throughout the day. All proceeds from the Family Fun Fair’s barbeque and silent auction will go to the YCMA Strong Kids Campaign.

Through YMCA programs –kids can be active, learn how to lead a healthy lifestyle and dramatically enhance their overall wellbeing. The YMCA Strong Kids Campaign ensures that kids in our community reach their full potential, no matter their financial circumstance,” said Alison Schmidt, Funds Development Coordinator at the YMCA of Central East Ontario – Balsillie Family Branch, Peterborough.
The YMCA Strong Kids Campaign provides children and families the opportunity to participate in YMCA programming and memberships, regardless of their financial circumstances. Children’s involvement at the YMCA will provide children a safe-environment with great role models and the opportunity to develop their skills and self-confidence, while maintaining an active, healthy lifestyle.
